Step 1 - Log-In to Outlook and Click 'File'

Log-in to your Outlook account and, in the top left corner of your screen, click 'File' to launch the drop down menu.

Step 2 - Click Manage Add-ins

At the bottom of the list of options, click on the 'Manage Add-ins' button. A new window will pop up in a browser window.

Step 3 - Log-In to Your Account

You'll need to log-in to your Outlook or Office365 account to install the Uberflip Outlook Extension.

First, look for (or enter) your email address. This should be the email address tied to the account you use when logging into Outlook's desktop version.

Second, enter the password tied to your Outlook or Office365 account.

Step 4 - Add Uberflip Extension Through URL

On the page that appears, click the '+' drop down to see the list of ways you can install a new extension. Click 'Add from a URL'.

Step 5 - Enter Manifest URL

Enter this manifest URL: https://app.uberflip.com/extensions/shout-v2-host-outlook/manifest.xml in the URL field. Once done, click 'Next'.

Step 6 - Click Install

Please read the confirmation message. When done, click 'Install'.

Step 7 - Click OK

Click OK and you'll be done this part of the process.

Step 8 - Create a New Email in Outlook

Return to the desktop version of Outlook. Click the 'New Email' button in the top left corner of your screen.

Step 9 - Find Extension

Once you're drafting a new email, look for the Uberflip Outlook Extension icon in the extension area near the top right hand corner of your screen.

Step 10 - Authorize Uberflip Extension

Enter your Uberflip username and password and click to log-in.

That's it! You've now integrated the Uberflip Outlook Extension with your desktop version of Outlook. Moving forwards, you'll be able to easily, find, organize, and share your Hub's content with your prospects and customers.

Older Versions of Outlook

While Outlook 2016 for Desktop computers allows you to install add-ins from URL via the Web environment, previous versions like Outlook 2013 do not allow for this ability.  However, if a previous version of Outlook is running through a Microsoft Exchange server, the MS Exchange Admin may be able to install add-ins from URL.  Please contact your MS Exchange Admin to verify this ability and provide them with the Manifest URL for the extension.

Conflicts with other Add-ins

The Uberflip Extension may experience problems due to conflicts with other extensions, such as the Salesforce for Outlook add-in.  It may be required to disable other add-ins in order to allow for the Uberflip Extension to function correctly.
