Western Computer Acquires Remanufacturing ERP Solution

August 30, 2022 Jacob James

Creating a certified Microsoft application for a new vertical market can take years of development and customer references. To accelerate the process, Western Computer recently acquired the Level Seven Group's remanufacturing solution for Dynamics 365 Business Central, which we are now relaunching under the name 365REMAN.

The application is tailored for remanufacturers, distributors of remanufactured products, and core suppliers. As a cloud solution, 365REMAN is ideal for companies that need specific remanufacturing functions in their ERP system or are looking to modernize their existing business management system.

365REMAN eliminates some of the biggest pain points in remanufacturing—such as core tracking and teardown—while also meeting the needs of standard workflows and day-to-day operations.

Rounding Out Our Industry-Specific Solutions

Western Computer already had experts on staff who know the remanufacturing industry and acquiring the 365REMAN rounds out the industry-specific solutions we offer that run on Business Central, which also include 365WineTrade & 365HomeBuilder. We have solution architects, implementation consultants, developers and support staff that are fully prepared to meet the needs of customers in these industries and many others.

And as Microsoft releases updates to the Dynamics 365 Business Central platform, our company also has the ability and the resources to support ongoing product development and updates to these industry solutions. Our structure provides all the services customers expect from a partner—account management, implementation, development, integrations, and support.

Increasing Our Remanufacturing Expertise

With this acquisition, we’ve also increased our customer base by 35 accounts along with adding three experienced ERP consultants who have handled many 365REMAN implementations involving core remanufacturing functionality. They compliment, Matt Pagni, an ERP solution architect, who was already on our staff and formerly worked at Level Seven. They all know the remanufacturing industry and the 365REMAN customer base and are experienced Dynamics ERP solution architects.

For Western Computer, the acquisition is also critical from the standpoint of the challenges presented by the current employment market, which is competitive among Microsoft partners looking to bring on senior-level talent. Microsoft is also emphasizing the need for partners to focus on vertical markets and to develop specific IP for those verticals. We plan to meet this need by marketing 365REMAN directly to Microsoft sales reps—as a certified app for Dynamics 365 Business Central prospects in various verticals, including the automotive and compressor industries.

If you’re a remanufacturer, distributor of remanufactured products, or a core supplier, we would welcome the opportunity to tell you more about 365REMAN and how it can help your company operate more efficiently. Contact us today to schedule a call with one of our remanufacturing experts.

365REMAN is currently available for purchase in Microsoft Commercial Marketplace in both the Essentials and Premium editions of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. To learn more about 365REMAN, visit www.365Reman.com
